Welcome To A Couple of Sisters Designs: A Crow & A Pear

Our Story:

A couple of years ago Sherry & I got together and started designing together. We stayed at an awesome retreat house for a couple of days and started our Primitive designs! We have shared many hours of talking, sewing, designing, laughing, and sharing.
Hopefully our love of what we are doing will be contagious!

Sherry had owned and operated her own business when country was popular! She designed wood and paper mache products, and loved oil painting. She was very popular in the East Coast, California, and outside the USA. Her husband, Denny and her have been married for 41 years. They have one son and one daughter and 5 grandchildren which they enjoy! Denny is also an artist and does scroll saw and intarsia. Sherry is the earthly one in our family that loves gardening and her flowers. She is one who compost, recycles and prefers organic. She loves to cook and decorate her home. They also have a pup that is a Shih Tzu named Bella that has stolen their hearts.

Doni is the youngest girl of the family. We also have two sisters that are twins, Toni & Terri and a younger brother Matthew that came eight years after Doni which we all adore! Doni owns and operates the Cotton Patch Quilt Shoppe in East Tawas, Michigan for the last 16+ years. She also has a website for her store that offers over 130 different block a month programs, Wools, Homespuns, cotton fabrics from all leading designers, quilt kits galore and more! Doni si married to her best friend Mike which is the long arm quilter and also makes and sells quilt hangers, ruler racks and beautiful wood products at the store. They have been married for 30 years and have two daughter and two sons with 6 grandchildren which they adore! They both love the outdoors and nature. They camp, fish, and ride quads every chance they get. Doni also has a Shih Tzu named Precious that goes to work with them every day!
